MakeMyTrip revealed that it has partnered with the famous ride-sharing company Meru Cabs to offer sanitized cab services in all the leading airports of India.
They expect the partnership to prove beneficial to the users as they would be able to continue to offer a connected air travel experience through a single platform from booking flights to traveling safely in a hygienic cab to their destination.
The safety procedures included for the cabs are ozone sanitization in the vehicles, IPA, or Isopropyl Alcohol sanitization throughout the exterior of the car and temperature check of all the drivers at the hubs located in the airports.
Also, included would be an air protect barrier sheet between the driver and the rider and a bottle of alcohol-based hand sanitizer would also be available inside the cab.
The Chief Business Officer Ground Transport of MakeMyTrip, Parikshit Choudhary, revealed that their partnership would help in dealing with one of the major problems faces by people during this pandemic, which is traveling safely. This joint venture will let the users pre-book their airport rides just like they book their flights.
The safety standards used by MakeMyTrip and Meru ensure that both the driver and the rider are safe. It also prioritizes the safety and health of the traveler in their journey, he added.
